Aim(s)

The aim of the programme is to produce practical and sustainability-oriented electrical/electronic engineers to: i. teach at the pre-tertiary level, ii. work in the electrical and electronics industries either in wage employment or self- employment.

Objective(s)

By the end of the programme, students should be equipped with: i. pedagogical knowledge and skills to become effective teachers at the pre-tertiary level. ii. the scientific and engineering principles underlying the design, production, operation and maintenance of electrical/electronic engineering facilities/products. iii. practical skills for undertaking electrical/electronic engineering works. iv. the capability to establish and manage their entrepreneurial businesses. v. the ethics of the electrical/electronic engineering profession.

Graduation Requirements

  1. Course Requirements: A candidate for the BCom (Accounting) degree must pass all courses taken, meet Inter-Faculty course requirements.
  2. Credit Requirements: A candidate must accumulate a minimum of 140 credits (including Advance Credits).
  3. Additional Requirements: The candidate must attain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.0. In addition, the candidate must have settled financial and other obligations to the university.
