The aim of the programme is to produce graduates who will be able to teach students to live healthily and apply the principles of the nutrition of science in Food Technology.

Programme Objectives

Objective(s)

The objectives of the programme are to:

  1. provide students with the pre-requisite knowledge that will enable them develop competencies to become effective Food and Nutrition teachers.
  2. equip students with pedagogical skills that will enable them teach Food and Nutrition effectively.
  3. develop positive attitude towards teaching.
  4. equip students with research skills to undertake research in Food and Nutrition.

Graduation Requirements

  1. Course Requirements: A candidate for the BCom (Accounting) degree must pass all courses taken, meet Inter-Faculty course requirements.
  2. Credit Requirements: A candidate must accumulate a minimum of 140 credits (including Advance Credits).
  3. Additional Requirements: The candidate must attain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.0. In addition, the candidate must have settled financial and other obligations to the university.
